Rebel “Free Syrian Army” Declares Jihad Will Raise Islamic Flag Over the White House

ALEPPO, SYRIA (MECN) – An Islamic terrorist fighting to bring down the government of Syria in a video released online declares that the Free Syrian Army is waging “an islamic jihad, fighting in the cause of Allah,” not only to destroy the Syrian state and replace it with an Islamic state ruled by Sharia, but, ultimately to raise Islam’s flag over the White House. Analysts have highlighted the tragic irony that the United States, France, the United Kingdom, and a number of other western nations have formed a coalition to support these islamic terrorists who ultimately want to destroy them all. Libya, which owes its new-found “liberty” to a relentless NATO bombing campaign,  is the first country to recognize the political arm of the terrorists fighting the Syrian government as the legitimate representatives of the Syrian people. In addition, hundreds of Libyans have gone to Syria to join the jihad out of religious conviction and participate in the sectarian killing of those they perceive as their enemies and non-muslims in particular. Those fighting under the banner of Islam and the so-called “Free Syrian Army” are killing innocent civilians in the process of trying to overthrow the Syrian government and have been caught committing crimes against humanity.

Experts explain that jihad is known among muslims to be the sixth pillar of Islam, compulsory for all able-bodied muslims, although this fact is obscured or generally not advertised to non-muslims in the interest of concealing islam’s animosity to others. Islam considers muslims to be citizens of an ummah, a nation separate unto other peoples with its own political, economic, military and judicial system. Islam, therefore, is more than a religion; it is also a nationality and political ideology. As a supremacist belief system, non-muslims have only four choices in their relationship with Islam: submit to it by converting to Islam, pay a tribute to Islam and agree to be humiliated, sign a peace treaty with Islam if they are strong enough to resist, or be attacked by Islam in open warfare. However, according to Islam, muslims are taught that any male of majority who loses in battle fighting against muslims - basically, any male who has reached puberty - should be executed upon capture while women and minors should be taken as captives into slavery.

Calls to restore the Islamic ummah under the political entity known as the caliphate have been increasing among militant muslims and those who idealize the caliphate as a utopian form of government in which islam and islamic justice prevails. In Syria, islamic groups fighting the Syrian government have told protesters not to chant for “freedom” or “democracy” because these ideas are against Islam. They have told them, instead, to chant “only for Allah”, the muslim deity, and the restoration of the caliphate. Analysts suggest that the idea that islamic terrorists have gone to Syria to fight for human rights, civil rights, equal rights, freedom or liberal democracy – concepts all contrary to Islam – is a political ploy to allow a coalition of nations to justify supporting these terrorist groups to overthrow unfriendly governments. They say that Syria is being attacked by islamic terrorists with Western support the same way that Soviet forces were attacked by Western backed Islamic terrorists in Afghanistan as a proxy war that uses religiously motivated killers to fight enemies. This short-sighted policy empowering non-state actors – specifically, islamic terrorists – to threaten world peace continues as they move from one battlefield to the next to fight proxy wars for their sponsors.

This dangerous policy, however, is not confined to muslim majority countries, and through legal and illegal immigration, Western nations that permit free speech and freedom of religion are incubating threats to their own security by radical islam. Even the young have been indoctrinated with these beliefs, as this video of an eight year old girl in Sydney, Australia reveals, calling for jihad among the 600 attendees of an islamic conference.

Experts suggest that the future of relations with the Muslim world will change drastically in response to the growing realization that policies supporting militant Islam promote agendas contrary to Western values and interests. However, they also believe many more lives will be lost before these policies are abandoned, especially as Western hegemony declines and these cynical, desperate policies continue to appear convenient in the short-term among Western policy makers.
